Established in 1938, Anchor Mere Farm is a family-run farm consisting of Dwayne (father), Kelly (daughter), and both respective spouses (Olive and Ted).  Farming approximately 500 acres, Anchor Mere raises Angus and Wagyu cattle as well as growing hay, grain, and some vegetables. Anchor Mere is focused on closely managing cattle and raising quality hay and crops, all while continuing their reputation of integrity. They enjoy offering products to our local community and hope to be a farm business the 5th generation of their family is proud to be a part of.

Set on 43 acres with a pastoral view of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Bees & Trees is a working farm that features 8 acreas of Christmas trees, including fir, spruce, and pine, honeybee hives, Black Angus beef, animals to pet, and a Farm Store.

Set on 190 acres, Gobbler Hill Farm continues a 100-year tradition of farming crops and cattle and features a greenhouse in addition to its flower gardens and farm store. Immerse yourself in the beautiful gardens, a sea of fall mums, pansies, pumpkins, gourds, or sunflowers, depending on the season. The Hen’s Nest farm store offers fresh eggs and honey, their hormone and antibiotic free beef, lettuce from Culpeper’s Fresh2o greenhouse, and seasonal gifts for sale.

Liberty Hall offers born, raised, and finished beef, the same way they’ve been doing for 300 years.  Whole/Half/Quarter or By the Cut, are available every month to guarantee customers consistent purchasing options.

A vendor of the Culpeper Downtown Farmers Market since 2002, Sunshine Acres Farm is a family run farm situated on 66 acres in beautiful Rixeyville. Sunshine Acres Farm specializes in pesticide free, home-grown vegetables, juicy beef and pork, and farm fresh eggs and canned goods. Customers can purchase their farm favorites for farm pick-up via phone or Facebook, for pick-up in the Town of Culpeper on Monday and Tuesday mornings, or by delivery (for orders over $50).

Virginia Bison Co. at Cibola Farm has been supplying bison meat to the Washington, DC and Northern Virginia region since 1999. The 500 acres of grass pastures are home to a 300 bison heard. A wide range of meat cuts, sausage, and jerky are available for retail sales at the farm store, online for home delivery, and through buying clubs and drop off locations. Virginia Bison Co. at Cibola Farms raises quality natural meats under the principles of ecological and sustainable agricultural practices by keeping waste nutrients out of the Chesapeake Bay watershed. Composting systems are employed and livestock are rotationally grazed to spread nutrients and allow grass time to recuperate. Humane handling in a natural and low-stress environment is a key element of Virginia Bison Co. practices.

Located on 726 acres of rolling hills, Lakota Ranch is home to the oldest and most prominent Devon beef cattle herd in the country. Recognized for their grass fed beef produced by their Devon cattle, the farm focuses on high quality cattle. The property features a farm store, open 7 days a week and a petting zoo that includes goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, donkeys, peacocks, and a very famous pot belly pig.
