Often referred to by residents as Culpeper’s “hidden treasure,” Windmill Heights Garden Center has been family-owned for over 60 years, and houses eight greenhouses packed with seasonal plants, herbs, vegetables, and perennials.

Set on scenic farmland, Mystic Hill Farm offers self-care boarding with roomy stalls, open pastures, and a laid-back outdoor riding arena for horses and their riders to enjoy.

The Culpeper Harvest Days Farm Tour is celebrating 29 years of Culpeper agriculture.

The 2025 event welcomed over 2100 visitors to Culpeper farms for a weekend of educational activities and demonstrations.

Situated on 730 acres, Lakota Ranch is home to a premiere Devon herd. A favorite at local retailers and restaurants, the on-site farm store opened in 2015 now allows customers to purchase their favorite beef as well as pasture raised pork and lamb.

Highlight: Cornerstone Horsemanship

Cornerstone Horsemanship, specializing in versatility ranch horse and stock horse events and lessons, offers a unique convenience for riders through their on-site Cowboy’s Place Tack Store. Offering riders carefully selected, difficult to find, high quality products, the tack store provides a range of quality saddle pads, sport boots, and leather goods such as bridles, breast collars, and split reins.
